Fiberglass Field Trunk Pipelines(FFTP)

The Scientific Industrial Enterprise «Fiberglass Pipe Plant», Ltd for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation developed and produced fiberglass pipe a set of Fiberglass Field Trunk pipeline FFTP - (100) 150 with metal collapsible connection type «mouth». The Scientific Industrial Enterprise «Fiberglass Pipe Plant», Ltd concluded a long-term contract with the State Ministry of Defense to manufacture and supply Fiberglass pipelines increased productivity. Changing the material of the pipeline was due to the need to reduce the weight of the product. In addition, the use of Fiberglass FFTP pipes would reduce the setup time and increase the quantity of pumped fluid. This type of piping used for transportation of light petroleum products, petroleum and industrial water, as an emergency (temporary) and the bypass pipe as well as for the transfer of fluids composed of linear part of field pipelines increased productivity FFTP - (100) 150. производительности ПМТП - (100)150.

The main advantages (compared with steel analogues):

1. Small mass - 2 times less than steel. Installation do not required hoisting equipment and, consequently, the cost of installation is cheaper by 30 - 40%.
2.Lifetime at least 15 years.
3. They do not break when it is too cold(in case of accident)and restore all characteristics when they get warm.
