Fiberglass rods
The Scientific Industrial Enterprise «Fiberglass Pipe Plant», Ltd offers fiberglass rods produced by Fibercom, Inc. (USA)
Patent № 6193431
License API № 11В-0044
Fiberglass rods will:
Increase production through the use of patented technology of application Fiberglass rods. Optimize of pumping jacks, including:
- - Reducing the weight of rod columns;
- - Increasing the number and length of the course of swinging the pump without increasing the load on the gearbox and transmission systems;
- - Reduction of energy consumption per unit of production (average 30%);
- - Increase to 100% efficiency of the existing pump;
- - Exclusion of deposits of paraffin;
- - High corrosion resistance;
- - Exclusion of cliffs;
- - Improve the reliability and service life of installations
The main advantages of using Fiberglass rods are:
- 1. Modulus of elasticity of Fiberglass rod is 4 times lower than that of steel, so the opportunity to stretch approximately 4 times higher. Increase the length of the course of the plunger using Fiberglass rods increases the production rate to 40 per cent on the same hole
- 2. Weight of fiberglass rods by approximately 70 per cent less than metal, thus decreasing the load on the gearbox and transmission systems. Power gear up is limited to the weight of the liquid column of the bars, so if the weight of the column using Fiberglass rods may be reduced, the power will be increased
- 3. Reducing the weight of the rods in the columns of 2 or more times leading to energy savings up to 30 percent, the estimated power consumption is also reduced by 20-25 percent.
- 4. By reducing the load on the gearbox and transmission systems is increasing the number of swinging, which increases the volume of extracted fluid.
- 5. The use of columns of Fiberglass rods allows the extraction of the wells with a depth of suspension up to 5000 m
- 6. High resistance to chemical effects of the product of wells, including H2S and CO2 increases the lifetime of the column bars.
- 7.Reducing the number of repairs of wells due to bounce rods and excess life of the fiberglass columns by reducing the traction loads. The load on the actuator head of fiberglass column is reduced by an average of 25-30 percent.

We offer terms of service including:
- - Computer simulation of the column rods through the data for a particular customer well, and the existing equipment to provide data according to the questionnaire
- - Provision to customer data on each well, indicating the required ratio of steel and Fiberglass rods and projected increase in production;
Head - assembly of rods, staff training, technical and software support during the operation.
